Common questions

Why did a page or file fail to save?

Some websites restrict automated access, require sign-in, use protected media, rely on live service workers, block downloads, rate-limit requests, or serve content that cannot be fully archived on-device.

Why does the app ask me to keep it open?

iOS limits JavaScript rendering in the background. Website Saver can continue already discovered downloads in the background, but the fullest saves happen while the app stays open and on screen.

Does Website Saver upload my archives?

No. Saved sites and archive metadata are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share files.

How do I delete saved data?

Delete individual archives in Website Saver. You can also delete the app from your device to remove app data stored by iOS. Files exported outside the app need to be deleted separately.

Can Website Saver save any website?

No. It is intended for private offline access to pages and files you have the legitimate right to access. Websites with DRM, paywall restrictions, login protections, one-time tokens, live streams, or unsupported media may not save completely.
